The Wireless Power Consortium's certification data tells the bigger story: as of February 2026, more than 637 products had passed Qi2.2 certification, with multi-device three-in-one chargers the largest single category at close to a third of the total. When leading brands all start stuffing fans, screens, and retractable cables into one base, the 3-in-1 wireless charger is evolving from 'charges the three essentials' into a small smart terminal on the desk.
For makers of wireless chargers and magnetic wireless chargers, this is a signal: now that 100W wired fast charging is mainstream and wireless has reached 25W, the dividend of simply chasing higher wattage is fading, and differentiation at the experience level is starting to pay. Active cooling, status displays, cable management, and multi-device coordination — the work 'beyond charging speed' — will define the next phase of competition for 3-in-1 and multi-device wireless charging. For the supply chain, design customization and manufacturing will tilt toward highly integrated desk solutions rather than a bare charging pad.
Whether the €99.99 price is worth it depends on how many devices are actually piled on your desk. But the direction is clear: the wireless charging base is quietly turning into a small terminal on your desk that displays, cools, and tucks cables away. That shift is more interesting than yet another wattage number.
