Lately, Chinese accessory makers have picked it back up — and quietly bumped it to 25W. UGREEN's new 2-in-1 foldable wireless charger, listed in the US in late August, is aimed squarely at that gap. It looks almost like a MagSafe Duo clone but lifts wireless output from the original Duo's 7.5W to 25W over Qi2.2, which means the portable dual-charging experience that once cost a premium is now reachable at mainstream prices.

Still, don't let the "Qi2.2" and "25W" labels do the thinking for you. Products that borrow the magnetic look but cut corners on speed, efficiency, or safety are already on the market. Checking the official WPC certification number and confirming the main pad actually supports MPP magnetic full-speed charging matters far more than staring at the wattage printed on the box. Anything claiming 25W yet charging sluggishly even without a magnetic case is most likely padded. Spending a minute on the certification database before buying beats regretting a slow charger later.
From a discontinued premium accessory to today's affordable 25W foldable 2-in-1, the path of wireless charging adoption is clear: standards come first, then accessory makers drive the price down. Over the next year or two, this pocketable, stand-turned form factor will likely sit alongside 3-in-1 stations as one of the most common shapes for desktop and travel multi-device wireless charging. For makers of magnetic and multi-device wireless chargers, "portable plus affordable plus real 25W" has already become the entry benchmark you can't ignore.
