That splits the business into design-and-customization versus manufacturing-and-sales: upstream fights over coil topology and magnetic shielding, downstream over industry know-how and delivery. For smaller suppliers wanting a piece, picking one vertical—say only AGVs or only underwater gear—is far more realistic than doing everything.
Q: So after 2026, where does wireless charging go? A: Two threads will tighten together. One keeps smoothing out magnetic, multi-device, high-power charging for consumers; the other turns invisible energy from pilot to routine on the industrial side. ICWPT2026 putting papers and production lines on the same table is itself a signal: the wireless-charging story is no longer just one fewer cord for the phone, but letting power find the device on its own. The places that catch this wave first will eat the dividend.
