OEM Vehicle Wireless Charging Project

Background

A new-energy vehicle brand planned to integrate in-cabin wireless charging at the factory level, requiring high compatibility, high safety and the latest fast-charge protocol with automotive-grade reliability.

Solution Highlights

Results

The in-factory wireless charging module was integrated successfully — drivers charge on entry, the cabin feels more high-tech and the ownership experience improved.

Customer Requirements

Selection & Configuration

Delivery & QC

Samples were validated in-vehicle to factory-fit standards: high/low temperature cycling, vibration and rough-road testing, and long continuous charging temperature rise. In production, coil alignment deviation and protection thresholds are sampled per batch, with test reports and certificates shipped to support the OEM's incoming inspection.

FAQ

Q: Will the phone fall off on rough roads?
A: Qi2 magnetic alignment plus a structural stop holds securely in normal conditions. For long-haul or rough-road markets the design can switch to a clamping-arm structure for mechanical grip.

Q: Does summer heat cause throttling?
A: Over-temperature protection reduces power rather than cutting off, and the structure reserves an airflow path aligned with the interior's heat routing.

Q: Can one module serve several vehicle models?
A: The electronics carry over; the panel and cut-out need per-model drawings. That is structural adaptation rather than redeveloping the solution.
